Huntington Beach is the closest market to our Seal Beach base, roughly eight miles up the coast, which makes it the area we run most often. We charter throughout Huntington Harbour and the five man made islands inside it, Admiralty, Davenport, Gilbert, Humboldt and Trinidad, along with the Sunset Beach stretch to the north and the open water off Huntington State Beach and the pier.
Guests join us from Huntington Harbour itself, from Pacific City and the downtown area near the pier, and from the Bolsa Chica side. Because the drive from our base is short, more of your booked time is spent on the water instead of getting there, which matters more on a four hour charter than most people realise.

Wakesurfing, wakeboarding, waterskiing and tubing, run in the open water outside the harbour rather than inside it, since harbour towing is prohibited. What Makes Boating in Huntington Beach Different?
One local rule shapes every charter here, and most visitors do not know it. Huntington Beach Municipal Code 13.36.010 prohibits towing any person from a vessel in the waters of Huntington Harbour, whether on a board, a tube or in the water, unless you are in a designated special use area or at an authorised special event. Section 13.36.020 also caps harbour speed at five miles per hour.
So the harbour is beautiful, sheltered and warm, and it is not where wakesurfing happens. The harbour is for cruising, swimming off the boat and the slow scenic run past the island homes. For watersports we take you out through the channel into open water, where towing is legal and the boat can actually work. Getting that split right is exactly what a local captain is for.
